In "You can use Roo VPN on multiple devices at the same time for only one fee", we learned that you can bind multiple devices to one account. So these devices may have usage time before entering the account. How to deal with the remaining time after they enter the account? If a device in an account is "kicked out", how is the usage time allocated?
Here we will describe in detail the rules implemented by the Roo account system in the processing of member usage time.
Device registration/login account
When you want to register/login to an account:
1. If your device has purchased our service, all the remaining usage time in your device will be accumulated to the account;
2. If your device has not purchased our service, the usage time in the device is given by the system, and the remaining time will not be accumulated to the account.
This design is to prevent someone from abusing the account system to get free time and affect the normal user's usage rights.
If the user level of the account is different from your user level, the account will enjoy the original highest level of service after logging in.
For example: the account was originally an SVIP member and will expire in 30 days, and your device is a VIP member and will expire in 10 days. Then the service level of your account after logging in is SVIP, which will expire in 40 days.
Devices kicked out of the account
Regardless of whether there is available usage time in the original account, the kicked-out device will be directly set to expired status. The usage time and account level of the original account will not change.
If you are maliciously kicked out because you share an account with a stranger, please refer to the instructions of the "Recovering the original account through appeal" document and contact us according to the operation process. Although this behavior violates our "User Agreement", we will do our best to help you recover your losses.
Devices that exit the account
The difference between exiting the account and being kicked out of the account is whether there are other devices in the original logged-in account after you exit. If you are the last device in the account, you belong to the "exit account" operation category.
All available time (whether paid or not) and user service level in the original account will be transferred to your device.
